Emergency fire and water restoration project that was assigned to Hero Response at a city of Toronto landmark, the Bandshell Auditorium.

The work was completed by our certified water and fire restoration technicians. The cause of the reported fire and water damage was the result of vandalism during the Victoria Day long weekend celebrations.

Unfortunately, this fire affected the south side of the elevated stage, a wooden ramp, the performance stage and all the materials below the structure. (double layer plastic sheeting with unique rubber springs for bouncing and acoustical purposes)

The water used to extinguish the fire by the fire department penetrated the structure causing damages to the main level and the basement of the property.

Environmental and structural engineers were involved during the project. (analyzing the stability of the structure and the quality of the air inside the building)

This building is 83 years old, and while the emergency services were being conducted, a few pre-existing conditions arise during the mitigation work.

Hero Response Inc. reported these findings to the City and repaired not only the related loss damages but also the pre-existing problems.

Doing this not only made the building functional again in record time but safer and better for the City and the community.

Once again, Hero's expertise in working with old structures helped to make the right decisions during the completion of this project.

And the Bandshell was able to operate and re-open to the public to continue with the scheduled venues. Making sure there were no business interruptions after the reported damages.
